ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Department of Botany enrolled its first batch of students in the year 2017, in B.Sc. (Medical) General course. The department started with the creation of first rate physical infrastructure. The new laboratories are going to be equipped to meet all the practical requirements of B.Sc. degree classes. The department is in a continuous process of growth and improvement with augmentation of various plant specimens, plant materials from different plant groups, charts, models and microscopes. Further expansion and up- gradation which is a continuous process is facilitated by grants from UGC (RUSA).
COURSES OFFERED
At present, the college offer only B.Sc. medical (General) programme (Botany, Chemistry and Zoology) according to H.P.U where in the students can choose from any of the following course in their 3rd ,4th 5th and 6th semester which help in the development of basics and skill enhancement in the students for the subject of Botany.
